About Gramafin

Gramafin started as a hobby project I built for myself. I wanted to track my expenses, budgets and net worth in rupees, and every app I tried either assumed dollars, wanted a subscription or wanted me to link a bank account. So I built my own on weekends.

Once it was good enough that I stopped using spreadsheets, I opened it up so anyone in Pakistan could use it. It stays free because it costs me very little to run and I built it for personal use first. There is no catch: no ads, no selling your data and no premium tier waiting behind a paywall.

I'm Saad Salman, a fintech product manager in Lahore. My day job is launching cards, payments and multi-currency banking products, and Gramafin is where I get to be my own user. If you want to read more about my work or get in touch, my site is saadsalman.org.

If Gramafin is useful to you, that is the whole point. Start for free.
